Rita Delao, 60, was walking e/b in the crosswalk of Salinas Street. A white extended cab pickup, possibly a Chevy, with a business emblem on the door was driving s/b in the #2 lane. The right side rear view mirror of the pickup struck Delao on the head, knocking her to the ground. Delao had a large contusion to the left side of her forhead and complained of pain to her neck, back, and side. She was airlifted to a San Jose hospital. An MST bus driver was pulling out of the transit center and witnessed the accident, which was also caught on the bus video. Investigation continues.
