Release Date/Time: 12/22/2011 11:34 PM The first suspect, a BFA, purchased a 48" Visio TV for approximately $1,000. She walked outside with the TV and handed the receipt to Marquesha Davis (aka Johnson). Davis entered the Wal-Mart and chose the same style TV. She exited without paying for it, holding the receipt from the previous purchase. After exiting the store she gave the receipt back to the initial suspect. Security would not attempt contact with Davis because she was also holding a large pair of scissors. Security called police as Davis loaded the TV into a Cadillac. The first officer arrived to find Davis still in the parking lot. The officer ordered her out of the car but Davis ignored the orders and backed up at a high rate of speed. Davis fled from the scene and the officer initiated a pursuit. Davis fled for approximately 3 minutes. She stopped at her apartment on the 2000 block of Santa Rita Street where she was taken into custody. While the pursuit was in progress, the initial suspect took her TV back into the store with the original receipt to attempt a return. She became suspicious and left with the originally purchased TV but without her $1,000. Davis was booked for the listed charges as well as a $3,000 traffic warrant.
