Release Date/Time: 12/4/2009 2:38 PM A 19-year-old Hispanic male victim was walking on Dennis Ave, when he was approached by a Black Honda or similar vehicle. The passenger of the car got out and brandished a handgun at the victim, then demanded his wallet. When the victim said no, the suspect pistol-whipped him and removed a gold chain the victim was wearing. The suspect got into the black car and fled southbound on Dennis Ave. The victim received a cut to the back of his head, for which he was taken to a local hospital. The suspect was a Hispanic male adult, 20's, 5-10, 180, wearing a Black clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Salinas Police Department or the crime tip lines.
