Release Date/Time: 1/7/2013 2:03 PM Officers responded to an armed robbery at Tapia's Sports Wear located in the 600 block of N. Sanborn Rd. The lone suspect entered the business and pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot in a northbound direction towards the Bonnie Dunne apartments. An area check did not locate the fleeing suspect who was described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt pulled over his nose and blue jeans. No further information is available at this time , the investigation continues.
