Release Date/Time: 1/3/2012 11:18 PM The victim, a 25 year-old male, was sitting in his parked car reading a text message on his cell phone. He looks up when he hears a banging on his car window. He rolled down the window and was confronted by a suspect who was armed with a black revolver. Two other suspects went to the passenger side of the car. The armed suspect demanded his money. The victim complied and handed over the cash in his wallet. The suspects demanded more money and the victim was pistol whipped. When the victim could not provide more money, the armed suspect pistol whipped him again and took his cell phone. The other two suspects searched through the victim’s car but did not take anything. The suspects then fled on foot. They were described as all young adult males, wearing black hooded sweatshirts. The victim was treated at the scene for cuts and bruises to his face. BOL placed.
