Release Date/Time: 12/19/2012 4:59 PM Officers responded to a past tense armed robbery attempt at Costco Warehouse store on Davis Rd. The employee who witnessed the incident did not initially notify store management of what had happened. The investigation revealed that on 12/17/2012 at approximately 3:45 PM the suspect entered the service area to the tire shop on the south side of the business. The suspect, a white male adult, was wearing a floppy hat, a respirator type mask on his face similar to what pest control sprayers wear,a black hoodie, jeans and black gloves. The suspect appeared to be trying to enter the main store from the tire shop but he was unable to as there is no entry from this area into the main store. The suspect turned around and brandished a gun towards the employee at the tire shop and exited the business. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction out of the store The tire shop employee did not report this incident immediately as nothing was taken. The investigation is on going and surveillance cameras video in being examined in an attempt to identify the lone suspect.
