A Hispanic male, 16-18 years old, 5-9/160 with spiked hair wearing a white tee shirt and black baggie jeans approached a vehicle driven by 39 year-old female after she had stopped on Terrace Street between Carr Avenue and N. Madeira Avenue to allow the male to cross the street. The male said something to the 39 year-old victim and tried to open the driver's side door. The victim accelerated away from the suspect when she heard a gunshot and the back of her vehicle was struck by a bullet. Two children were also in the vehicle at the time. No one was injured. The victim drove to a relative's house and called the police. An area check was conducted for the suspect to no avail.
