Release Date/Time: 12/2/2012 7:02 PM Officers responded to a report of a shooting victim in the 900 block of Rockrose St. The 33 year-old victim with no gang affiliation heard a knock at his front door. When he answered, a Hispanic male suspect asked him what gang he associated with. The victim slammed the door shut, but was struck multiple times when the suspect fired through the door. He was flown to a Bay Area hospital for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The suspect was described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male, 16-17 years old, and 5’6” to 5’7” tall. He wore a black San Francisco Giants beanie and a black pullover jacket. After the shooting, he was seen running to a waiting white or gold colored Cadillac Escalade with a lowered front end and chrome rims. There is no further information at this time.
