Release Date/Time: 12/6/2009 9:42 PM Officers responded to a report of a victim of a shooting. Upon arrival they found Jesus Alba, age 18, of Salinas suffering from a very minor gunshot wound to his upper right thigh. The victim related that he and his girlfriend were walking on Del Monte Avenue when a dark colored Nissan with two occupants pulled up to them. The passenger fired at him causing the minor wound he received. Alba could not provide much in the way of a description and the suspects fled prior to police arrival.
