Release Date/Time: 1/4/2012 6:53 PM The victim, a 19 year-old male was walking with his girlfriend on the sidewalk in front of 24 N. Wood St. According to witnesses, the victim and his girlfriend were shot at by someone in a white truck or van, possibly an Ford F150. The victim was hit once in the back and ran away before officers arrived on scene. The girlfriend also ran away. The victim walked into a local hospital a short time later after being dropped off by two unknown females. He was contacted at the hospital. The victim is a documented gang member and was uncooperative with the investigation. He refused to identify his girlfriend so she could not be contacted and interviewed.
