Incident: Burglary/ Possession of a stolen Vehicle

The victim called to report that his storage unit had been broken into and that $10,000 worth of tools and a trailer had been stolen. The investigation revealed that Jose Perez (Age 48), entered the storage facility with an unknown accomplice. Perez and his partner cut the lock to the storage unit and stole the tools and the trailer. Perez was later contacted at his residence and arrested. He was boked into the Monterey County Jail for burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.
