Release Date/Time: 1/9/2013 9:03 AM Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress in the back parking lot of the Motel 6 located at 1257 De La Torre. The reporting party stated he was asleep in his semi trailer when he heard someone breaking into the locked trailer. Officers arrived and encountered Fabian Puga (21) to the rear of the trailer. Puga immediately became uncooperative with officers and refused to follow orders. Puga went inside the trailer refusing to come out. After approximately one hour of dialogue with Puga, officers were able to enter the trailer and place Puga in custody. As officers attempted to secure Puga, he became combative and kicked the officers. Puga was found to have a felony warrant, he was later transported to county jail and booked on charges of burglary, resisting arrest and the warrant. Release Authorized by: Officer Miguel Cabrera |
