Incident: Carjacking Arrest / Felony Warrant

Violence Suppression Unit officers located a stolen vehicle in the area of N. Main St at Alvin Dr. The Cadillac had been reported stolen stolen in a carjacking incident earlier in the day. A high risk traffic stop was conducted and the two occupants were arrested without incident. The male driver was identified as Hermogene Bernabe (39).

Bernabe was later transported to county jail where he was booked on charges of car jacking and an outstanding felony warrant. Bernabe's passenger was released without charges.
