Release Date/Time: 6/7/2008 7:25 PM Members of the Monterey County Joint Gang Task Force (GTF) conducted a traffic stop on Jaime Perez,26, for vehicle code violations and found him to be on probation. GTF responded to a residence on Provincetown Drive to conduct a probation search on his residence. During the search a half-pound of cocaine, a half-ounce of mehamphetmine, and 3 handguns were seized. Additionally, stolen property from a residential burglary in Salinas and gang indicia was recovered. Also arrested at the residence was Mario Loerna, 21, who also resides at the home. Both subjects were lodged for a variety of drug and weapon charges as well as gang enhancements. Release Authorized by: Sgt. Stan Cooper MCJGTF |
