Members of the Monterey County Joint Gang Task Force conducted a parole compliance check at the above address is Seaside, CA. Officers contacted Michele Mercadal (32) who indicated that the parolee really did not reside with her and her one-year-old daughter. A search of her residence revealed the suepct, Albert Colton hiding in the bathroom. Officers also located a loaded firearm under a seat cushion to a couch in the living room as well as body armor. After discovering the firearm Michele Mercadal was arrested for child endangerment. Both she and Albert Colton were lodged into Monterey County Jail for the above violations. Child Protective Services was contacted and took custody of Mercadal's daughter. |
