Salinas Police officers responded to the El Sombrero Motel regarding a possible domestic violence. Upon arrival, officers observed Hector Cornejo (Age 40), driving out of the parking lot. Officers initiated a vehicle stop at the dead end of Harvest Street where Cornejo stopped his vehicle and fled on foot. A perimeter was established and officers located Cornejo and arrested him. Cornejo had a felony warrant  for his arrest. He was lodged into Monterey County Jail for the warrant, resisting arrest, violation of probation, and driving on a suspended license.
