Felony hit and run
Release Date/Time: 4/3/2015 5:38 PM Joshua Verwolf, 39, was riding his bicycle s/b North Main Street. He made a left turn at Iris Drive toward the Rodeo Grounds. Vehicles in the #1 and #2 n/b lanes were stopped at the red light and yielded to Verwolf. A maroon Honda traveling n/b in the #3 lane did not yield. The Honda continued n/b through the intersection and struck Verwolf in the #3 lane. Verwolf went up onto the hood and broke the windshield before falling to the pavement. Verwolf was rushed to Natividad Medical Center Trauma Unit. He suffered a dislocated shoulder, broken ribs, and a possible concusion. The Honda stopped briefly before fleeing northbound on North Main Street. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Officers are still looking for a maroon Honda with a broken windshield.
