Incident: Gang Members in Possession of Firearm

Violence Suppression Unit officers conducted an enforcement stop for traffic violations on a vehicle in the area of N. Main St. at Bolivar. They contacted the occupants in the vehicle and located open containers and marijuana. The investigation also revealed the driver, identified as Sam Martinez (22) was on probation. A subsequent search of the vehicle located a loaded handgun.The two passengers, Cesar Villa (18) and Christian Rualizo (18), were also arrested. All three were transported to county jail and booked on weapon charges in addition to gang enhancements.
