Release Date/Time: 11/26/2012 4:46 PM Probation officers attempted to contact a female probationer in the 1300 block of Bernardo Ave. They observed the probationer in the driveway to the residence in a vehicle along with three juvenile males. The probationer exited the vehicle as they requested. In addition, they recognized one of the male occupants as having a juvenile no bail warrant. The three males refused to obey orders from the probation officer to exit the vehicle, instead they sped off at a high rate of speed. Responding SPD officers located the suspect vehicle in the 1300 block of Nogal Dr. The three male suspects had abandoned it after it crashed into a residence in the area. There were no injuries to anyone at the residence. An extensive area check located one of the fleeing suspects in a yard at a residence on Amarillo Dr. This suspect (17) was arrested for trespassing and later cited and released to his parents. The other two juveniles were identified but not located. The female juvenile probationer (17) had apparently driven away in a vehicle she took without permission while officers were trying to find the male juveniles. She was later located in the stolen vehicle. She was arrested and lodged into juvenile hall on a charge of stealing the vehicle. Investigation continues.
