Release Date/Time: 12/24/2012 10:51 PM Officers were dispatched to a victim of a shooting at a residence in the 1200 block of Second Ave.. When officers arrived on scene, they found Salvador Garcia (30) lying unconscious on the driveway to the rear of the house. Garcia had a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Officers made a quick assessment and started CPR. They were relieved by fire personnel who shortly thereafter pronounced Garcia as deceased. All indications are that the victim confronted the suspect over a family dispute before the victim was shot. The suspect immediately fled the scene. The suspect has been identified by family members as Francisco Navarro (34). The supect is the brother-in-law of the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a custom orange painted 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck. His whereabouts is unkown at this time. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
