Homicide Update
Release Date/Time: 12/26/2012 2:52 PM On December 24, 2012, officers responded to the 1200 block of Second Ave. on the report of a shooting victim. When officers arrived they found 30 year-old Salvador Garcia suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. According to witnesses, Garcia and his brother-in-law Francisco Navarro, age 34, had a brief disagreement in the driveway of Navarro's residence. Navarro immediately fled the scene in a custom orange painted 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck. His whereabouts are unknown at this time. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. Attached is an updated photo of Navarro.
