Salinas Animal Services (SAS) is having a 'Howl-O-Ween Celebration this Saturday, October 25th, 2008 from 1-4pm. It will be a 'howling' good time for all, including a Pet Costume Contest @ 2pm, games, food, freebies , and tons of fun. Help fill the Shelter's 'Trick or Treat' bag with donations that can include pet food, blankets, towels, toys, treats, bedding, grooming supplies and other pet related items. To participate in the Pet Costume Contest at 2pm, all dogs must be on a leash and cats in carriers. To further celebrate Halloween, SAS is offering $10 off every cat and dog adoption through the month of October! So come on out and fall in love with a furry feline or cute canine. There are all breeds, sizes, and colors to be found at Salinas Animal Services! Salinas Animal Services (SAS) is located at 144 Hitchcock Road in Salinas and is a division of the City of Salinas’ Police Department. SAS provides animal control services, licensing, lost/found, and adoptions programs to the residents of Salinas. Volunteer opportunities are also available.
