Incident: Possession of a Firearm, Gang Enhancements

Officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the Downtown area. When officers arrived, they contacted two male adults who were seen trying to hide behind a vehicle. Officers contacted the suspect, Devon Camel (Age 20), and another male. They were both detained and questioned. A search under the vehicle they had been observed behind revealed a loaded handgun.

Camel admitted to possession of the handgun and he was booked into the Monterey County Jail for possession of a firearm and gang enhancements.
