The victim had recently separated from her husband, Darryl Nakamura (Age 31). Today, she received several text messages from him indicating he wanted to hurt her and himself. Salinas Police officers contacted Nakamura at the corner of Orange Drive and San Antonio Circle. A search of Nakamura's vehicle revealed a handgun. Another handgun was also later retrieved from his residence. Nakamura was arrested and booked in the Monterey County Jail.
