Violence Suppression Unit Officers conducted a probation search at a residence on the 500 block of Santa Maria Street. Officers were familiar with the residence of Omar Gutierrez (Age 18), and Charles Gutierrez (Age 18), both gang members. The residence was equipped with surveillance equipment and the occupants observed the officers as they approached. Four suspects consisting of the Gutierrez brothers and two 15 year old juveniles, fled out the back door and over the back fence. One of the 15 year old juveniles did not make it over the fence and was tased and taken into custody in the back yard. The remaining three where taken into custody by officers in adjoining yards. Charles Gutierrez was also tased by Officers as he attempted to climb a second fence.  An additional 15 year old juvenile who was on juvenile probation with gang terms was located and arrested in the neighborhood. This juvenile had been observed leaving the home minutes prior to officer's arrival. Omar and Charles Gutierrez were booked into the Monterey County Jail for resisting arrest and violation of probation. The two 15 year old juveniles were booked in Juvenile Hall for resisting arrest and violation of juvenile probation.
