Commander Juan "Al" Ruiz is retiring from the Salinas Police Department after 31 years of law enforcement service. Commander Ruiz served with five law enforcement agencies during his career. A final briefing ceremony in the Salinas City Hall Rotunda is scheduled for Friday, December 30, 2011 at 7:30 AM. The media and public are invited to attend.
