Release Date/Time: 11/24/2009 5:12 AM Two males wearing masks walked into the Super Maxx grocery store at 935 W. Alisal St and robbed the business. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area in a vehicle. A short time later, officers spotted the vehicle on Riker and Clay Streets. A short pursuit ensued and the suspect vehicle crashed near Bautista Dr. and E. Romie Ln. The two subjects managed to escape on foot. Police are following up on leads. Anyone with information related to the crime or who may have been a witness are encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department at 758-7321.
