Release Date/Time: 6/2/2008 8:15 PM VSU officers, with the assistance of Narcotic detectives, served a search warrant at 67 N. Hebbron Ave #5, related to a narcotic investigation. Sergio Garcia, 32, was contacted after he was observed driving away from the apartment. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine packaged for sales. At the residence, officers encountered 6 more subjects to include Leno Nava, 23. Nava was also found to be in possession of methamphetamines packaged for sales. A stolen .22 cal lever action rifle was found in the residence. Both Garcia and Nava were booked at the county jail for possession / possession for sales with Garcia having additional charges related to the stolen gun. Release Authorized by: Mark Lazzarini |
