Incident: Search Warrant/ Possession of Stolen Property/ Violation of Probation

The Violence Suppression Unit served a search warrant at the residence of Brian Ramirez (Age 19). Ramirez, a gang member, was arrested earlier in the month for possession of a handgun. A search of the residence revealed several items of gang indicia and a stolen computer that belonged to Ramirez's 17-year old brother. The 17-year old, also a gang member and on juvenile probation, could not explain his possession of the stolen computer. The 17-year old was booked into Juvenile Hall for possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
