Officers saw a dark gray Chevy van driving on Williams Road near Grandhaven Street. The vehicle matched a B.O.L. for a stolen vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle and confirmed it was a stolen vehicle. A high risk traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Mark Valenzuela (Age 43), was taken into custody. Valenzuela was found to be on parole and was wanted for previous parole violations.

Valenzuela was booked in the Monterey County Jail for driving a stolen vehicle and parole violation.
