Incident: Update: Ryann Bunnell Crow

The 2002 Chevy Malibu that Ryann Bunnell Crow was last seen driving has been located. A search of the vehicle for any evidence that may assist the police department in finding the whereabouts of Ryann is forthcoming. At this time, we are not disclosing where the vehicle was located as this may impact our investigation in finding Ryann.

The Salinas Police Department would also like to dispel any rumors that we are seeking Ryann’s husband, Jesse Crow, for arrest pertaining to a marijuana grow found at his residence. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department is investigating that case and is preparing the case for review by the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.

Salinas Police Detectives have been in daily contact with Jesse Crow. We have recommended he check with the Monterey County Courts in regard to the public intoxication misdemeanor warrant out of the City of Pacific Grove. That warrant, a bench warrant issued by the court, had not reached the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Division as of February 9, 2010. Mr. Crow has since contacted the courts and rescheduled his court appearance date. Mr. Crow is continuing to cooperate with the Salinas Police Department in the investigation into his wife’s disappearance.
